Bangalore Warrier Samajam proudly hosted its first-ever Women’s Day celebration on March 16, 2025, at ECA, Indiranagar — a vibrant evening honoring the strength, spirit, and achievements of women in the community.
The event featured an inspiring keynote by poet and writer Mrs. Indira Balan, who emphasized this year’s theme, “Invest in Women: Accelerate Action.” BWS President M V Vijayan highlighted how women are reshaping society with bold leadership and vision.
Twelve exceptional women were honored for their contributions across fields like entrepreneurship, arts, education, mental health, and civic leadership. Cultural performances and heartfelt moments made the evening unforgettable.
In continued celebration, on March 18, 18 women pourakarmikas were honored and presented with gifts at PHC Doddanekkundi — a small gesture to recognize their hard work and vital role in keeping our communities clean and healthy.
