With over 60,000 applications received each year, only 2% are selected.
As part of this fully funded scholarship, She will be pursuing an *MSc in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics and Political Science.*
Her journey in the social sector began at 16 when she started volunteering in shelter homes with her mother. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she received an offer from a multinational company but soon realized that corporate life wasn’t for her. Instead, She traveled to a rural village in Rajasthan, where she began her journey as a teacher. The village embraced her as one of their own, and for the past seven years, she has been working full-time as a development professional, focusing primarily on education and gender focused social innovation projects. Last year, she co-founded her own non-profit organization, CSII, with two of her best friends.
Hridya is a native of Kodungallur in Thrissur district and daughter of Ms. Syamala CG ( poovathhusseri variyam) and Mr. V Jairam ( vayaloor variyam).
