After co-coordinating some well appreciated events the Ernakulam District Varrier Samajam conducted a pilgrimage to some very famous temples of Eastern Kerala.
The journey started at 08.30 pm Friday from North Paravur and picked all the members from Aluva, Ernakulam, Angamaly units. The group of 52 pilgrims reached Thrichambaram at 6.00 am Saturday. The second temple on the list was Sri Rajarajeswara temple Thalipparambu.
After enjoying a very comfortable climate at all the way we reached Kottiyoor by noon where a very cloudy as weather welcomed us. We could see very long queues at both Akkarey temple and Ekkarey temple and soon heavy rain started. But the spirit shown by the members keep the feeling that it is a whole Youth trip”. After the darsanam we head to Thirunelly where the first day of our journey ends.
Facilities were provided for those who wished to have the Pithrukarmas at Papanasini. After the holy bath at Papanasini and darsanam we moved to Thrissilery. All were feeling very energetic thanks to the fresh air and refreshing climate of the Thirunelly.
The last temple we went is the very famous Lokanarkkavu and reached there by evening and there were three temples including the main Bhagavathy temple.
And a very nice and happy journey ends in Monday 4.00AM at the starting point Paravur; thanks to all the members and the almighty for gifting us with some good weather and some good people around.
